In the 7th minute, Marko Batur made a precise shot to the right of Leo Poljak. Kastav Učka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Kastav Učka's Leo Poljak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Batur in the 10th minute of play. Silvije Ražić got in the 15th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Leo Poljak handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Požega got a freekick which was hit by Jurica Ptiček. Marko Batur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Poljak having to interfere. Silvije Ražić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Leo Poljak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Poljak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Batur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Poljak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Batur, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Leo Poljak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonči Grčević in the 45th minute of the match. The Kastav Učka players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Požega were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Predrag Mikulić to strike the kick off in the second half. When Požega's Silvije Ražić, in the 51st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Požega. Marko Batur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Leo Poljak made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Kastav Učka's goal looked a bit too open when Silvije Ražić came free, but Leo Poljak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marko Batur who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Leo Poljak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Kastav Učka's goalkeeper Leo Poljak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marko Batur. Marko Batur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Leo Poljak made a huge save. Predrag Mikulić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Poljak was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Silvije Ražić capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silvije Ražić really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. 79 minutes into the game, Jakov Pufler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ostoja Penava was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Slaven Stazić's late challenge caught a Požega's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Slaven Stazić helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Slaven Stazić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvije Ražić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Poljak having to interfere. In the 96th minute Jakov Pufler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ostoja Penava saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Požega were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Kastav Učka to leave the ground with a draw.
