Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pero Rebernjak started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Sesvetski Kraljevec's goal looked a bit too open when Fran Bogdanović came free, but Borna Majkić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kaštel Novi getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ljubo Matačić hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Sesvetski Kraljevec's Vlatko Stublić threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pero Rebernjak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sesvetski Kraljevec were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Kaštel Novi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomislav Librić took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tomislav Librić got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vlatko Stublić quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Borna Majkić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Lovrinović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Lovrinović in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borna Majkić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Pero Rebernjak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sesvetski Kraljevec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikica Konrad in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Borna Majkić saved Sesvetski Kraljevec from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Lovrinović in the 34th minute of play forced Sesvetski Kraljevec's goalkeeper Borna Majkić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sesvetski Kraljevec's Borna Majkić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikica Konrad in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Lovrinović in the 43rd minute of play forced Sesvetski Kraljevec's goalkeeper Borna Majkić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fran Bogdanović during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Kaštel Novi got a freekick which was hit by Fran Bogdanović. Borna Majkić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Lovrinović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When Fran Bogdanović came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Kaštel Novi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fran Bogdanović couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the match, Nikica Konrad notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sesvetski Kraljevec's Borna Majkić. Borna Majkić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pero Rebernjak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stojko Čobanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Pero Rebernjak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sesvetski Kraljevec's supporters rose to their feet, but Pero Rebernjak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vlatko Stublić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pero Rebernjak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlatko Stublić having to interfere. Fran Bogdanović hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sesvetski Kraljevec booed when Kaštel Novi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Kunčić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Lovrinović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borna Majkić having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Nikica Konrad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Borna Majkić. That made the score 1-2 in the 94 minute of play. The Kaštel Novi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kaštel Novi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
