Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Roman Robinić came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Robinić couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Većeslav Sviben came free, but Zoran Cvitanić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Robinić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stojko Alimanović having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Manchester United! In the 19th minute of the match Berislav Podvršnik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zoran Cvitanić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lovro Legenda kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, FC Grobnik United's Berislav Podvršnik broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Stanko Žalik struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Zoran Cvitanić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Grobnik United. When FC Grobnik United's Stanko Žalik in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manchester United's goalie prevented a goal. Zoran Cvitanić came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Grobnik United's Damir Selak. But to his dismay, Damir Selak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Manchester United's Zoran Cvitanić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanko Žalik in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Stanko Žalik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Zoran Cvitanić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damir Samek made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Grobnik United's goal looked a bit too open when Damir Samek came free, but Stojko Alimanović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Jan Kifer got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Stanko Žalik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damir Selak hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Stojko Alimanović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Čorković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Grobnik United getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Augustin Blašković hit a great ball. Zoran Cvitanić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanko Žalik, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Stanko Žalik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Manchester United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Grobnik United's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Grobnik United.
