Ratko Krešan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Selak in the 7th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Slakovci Tekstilac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jure Letina to maneuver through the defense. Ernest Selak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ratko Krešan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match, Rikard Brtičević tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ratko Krešan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ratko Krešan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Lipovljani's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Selak came free, but Ratko Krešan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes, Blaženko Matešić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lipovljani and the Slakovci Tekstilac players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lipovljani's Blaženko Matešić got a free kick in the 47th minute. Slakovci Tekstilac's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Grga Bralo in the 50th minute. A nice corner shot did that Grga Bralo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ratko Krešan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Vice Zafranović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladislav Kranjčar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zvonimir Mišura having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Dinko Lugonja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slakovci Tekstilac's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinko Lugonja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ratko Krešan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vice Zafranović scored 1-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zvonimir Mišura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vice Zafranović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zvonimir Mišura having to interfere. Vice Zafranović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Slakovci Tekstilac's Ilan Mengeš sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ratko Krešan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Vice Zafranović came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Lipovljani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vice Zafranović couldn't finish the play. Dinko Lugonja charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinko Lugonja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dinko Lugonja kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ernest Selak's late challenge caught a Lipovljani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest Selak helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Slakovci Tekstilac's Ernest Selak got a free kick in the 80th minute. Vladislav Kranjčar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zvonimir Mišura having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Vice Zafranović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lipovljani's supporters rose to their feet, but Vice Zafranović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zvonimir Mišura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ratko Krešan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Slakovci Tekstilac's Ilan Mengeš shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Ilan Mengeš struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ratko Krešan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slakovci Tekstilac. Vladislav Kranjčar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lipovljani's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
