Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zvonko Goreta started the match with the kick off. Šime Peranić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zvonko Goreta in the 5th minute of play. In the 11th play minute Gradimir Pavelin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Šime Peranić. 1-0. With a little luck, FC Podhum's Šime Peranić got control of the ball when Gradimir Pavelin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gradimir Pavelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Šime Peranić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Šime Peranić made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Gradimir Pavelin sent off a good shot on target. Šime Peranić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gradimir Pavelin in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, FC Podhum's goalkeeper Šime Peranić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gradimir Pavelin. Gradimir Pavelin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vlatko Rupčić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Klancir in the 35th minute of play. Šime Peranić was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Zvonko Goreta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zvonko Goreta really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Gradimir Pavelin struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Šime Peranić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mokošica. Albert Klancir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlatko Rupčić having to interfere. If Milivoj Šuvar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milivoj Šuvar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Zvonko Goreta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Šime Peranić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milivoj Šuvar in the 62nd minute of play forced Mokošica's goalkeeper Vlatko Rupčić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gradimir Pavelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Podhum getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mauro Kolarić hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Zvonko Goreta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Šime Peranić was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Milivoj Šuvar in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlatko Rupčić saved Mokošica from getting behind. When Zvonko Goreta came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Mokošica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zvonko Goreta couldn't finish the play. Mokošica's Zvonko Goreta got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zvonko Goreta in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Podhum's goalkeeper Šime Peranić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mokošica's Gradimir Pavelin got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Zvonko Goreta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mokošica's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
