Kruno Balestrin made a great header on Zelina's corner, it was just that Silba's Borislav Malibrk managed to reach the ball for a save. Borislav Malibrk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saša Smolić in the 24th minute of play. Vjenceslav Zorić who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Teodor Vadanjel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vjenceslav Hržić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borislav Malibrk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saša Smolić in the 40th minute of the match. When Vjenceslav Hržić came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Zelina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vjenceslav Hržić couldn't finish the play. Zelina's Teodor Vadanjel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatko Hranić in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Silba booed when Zelina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomica Šurbek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stojko Katunarić charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Zelina's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Hranić came free, but Teodor Vadanjel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Saša Smolić fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zelina's protests and gave Saša Smolić a yellow card for diving instead. Saša Smolić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zelina's Jurica Rožić got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Silba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Kruno Balestrin shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Zelina played a much better game than Silba and deserved their victory. The Silba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
