Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Božidar Glavinić in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marijan Ambrozić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Časlav Vuković's late challenge caught a Kapela Dvor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Časlav Vuković helped the player get up and apologised. Časlav Vuković hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Kapela Dvor's Hrvoje Klarić broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Kapela Dvor's Jurica Stojanović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franko Blažević narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Rakocija in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marijan Ambrozić saved Kapela Dvor from getting behind. Marijan Ambrozić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Božidar Glavinić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Božidar Glavinić in the 47th minute of play forced Kapela Dvor's goalkeeper Marijan Ambrozić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 54th match minute, Kapela Dvor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hrvoje Mamlić to maneuver through the defense. If Božidar Glavinić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Rakocija received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Marijan Ambrozić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, Donji Andrijevci Polet's Božidar Glavinić made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marijan Ambrozić was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marijan Ambrozić made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Božidar Glavinić sent off a good shot on target. After 73 minutes of play Donji Andrijevci Polet's Časlav Vuković was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Donji Andrijevci Polet getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Časlav Vuković hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Snješko Radonić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kapela Dvor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Franko Blažević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurica Stojanović in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Kapela Dvor's Marijan Ambrozić got control of the ball when Božidar Glavinić tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Roman Rakocija got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Roman Rakocija managed to get in a good position for a shot. Donji Andrijevci Polet's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Rakocija was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marijan Ambrozić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Donji Andrijevci Polet players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
