Frano Komadinić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marija Bistrica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zoltan Mrkić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tomo Glavota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomo Glavota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Velimir Juričić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Miroslav Sabađija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velimir Juričić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miroslav Sabađija's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Velimir Juričić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Marija Bistrica's goal looked a bit too open when Tomo Glavota came free, but Velimir Juričić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Zoltan Mrkić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andro Frk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Zoltan Mrkić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Andro Frk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zoltan Mrkić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andro Frk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frano Komadinić in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frano Komadinić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Frano Komadinić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andro Frk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC CRO CHAMPIONS's Andro Frk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frano Komadinić in the 53rd minute of play. Miroslav Sabađija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Miroslav Sabađija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Velimir Juričić made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Miroslav Sabađija sent off a good shot on target. Andro Frk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frano Komadinić in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Miroslav Sabađija reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Velimir Juričić. The goal made the score 1-1. Velimir Juričić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomo Glavota, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Miroslav Sabađija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zoltan Mrkić kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Frano Komadinić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andro Frk having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC CRO CHAMPIONS defense, Frano Komadinić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andro Frk. The FC CRO CHAMPIONS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andro Frk should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Tomo Glavota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zoltan Mrkić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andro Frk having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC CRO CHAMPIONS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marija Bistrica.
