Turanj's Držislav Bošnjak got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ante Majstorović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zvonko Ćorić having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Udbina! The referee gave Turanj a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nino Njegoš, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Udbina's Franjo Galić. 1-1. Franjo Galić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinko Mudrinić in the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Turanj's Zvonko Ćorić got control of the ball when Vjeran Klasnić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Držislav Bošnjak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franjo Galić having to interfere. Dinko Mudrinić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franjo Galić having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Dinko Mudrinić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turanj's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinko Mudrinić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franjo Galić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Držislav Bošnjak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vjeran Klasnić during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vjeran Klasnić made a kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Držislav Bošnjak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turanj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Držislav Bošnjak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dinko Mudrinić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vjeran Klasnić in the 65th minute of play forced Turanj's goalkeeper Zvonko Ćorić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Udbina's Franjo Galić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Udbina from getting a goal against them. After 69 minutes, Julije Rudela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Turanj and the Udbina players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Udbina booed when Turanj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julije Rudela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vjeran Klasnić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zvonko Ćorić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Držislav Bošnjak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Franjo Galić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 77 minutes into the game, Držislav Bošnjak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franjo Galić. Držislav Bošnjak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Udbina's zone, Julije Rudela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franjo Galić came out of the goal and Julije Rudela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Držislav Bošnjak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dinko Mudrinić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franjo Galić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Julije Rudela was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Turanj's Julije Rudela got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Zvonko Ćorić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vjeran Klasnić went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Turanj were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Udbina to leave the ground with a draw.
