An unexpectedly hard shot by Duje Jušić in the 4th minute of play forced Barun Juniors's goalkeeper Mijat Ordanić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jura Brečak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bojan Bulaja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zdenko Redak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mijat Ordanić having to interfere. Ivanska Polet's Bojan Bulaja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Resman in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Martin Šušak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barun Juniors and the Ivanska Polet players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ivanska Polet booed when Barun Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Šušak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th match minute, Ivanska Polet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdenko Redak to maneuver through the defense. August Bezinović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 played minutes Ivanska Polet got a freekick which was hit by Radimir Katačić. Toni Resman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bojan Bulaja having to interfere. Dado Hincak hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zdenko Redak to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Zdenko Redak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mijat Ordanić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zdenko Redak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bojan Bulaja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toni Resman went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Duje Jušić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mijat Ordanić having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oto Zuber during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oto Zuber kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Barun Juniors's Vlaho Lajtner broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Ivanska Polet's Duje Jušić got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Barun Juniors's Vlaho Lajtner couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ivanska Polet. Bojan Bulaja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Resman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Barun Juniors booed when Ivanska Polet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oto Zuber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toni Purić's late challenge caught a Ivanska Polet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toni Purić helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barun Juniors fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! Radimir Katačić shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After a rather tough play, Ivanska Polet's Radimir Katačić got a free kick in the 88th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Toni Resman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barun Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Toni Resman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bojan Bulaja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barun Juniors were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ivanska Polet for a fine match.
