Stanislav Vranković showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Držimir Šijanski in the 10th minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Držimir Šijanski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bizovac's Stanislav Vranković was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Viktor Sabol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Bizovac's Toni Bogdanović got a free kick in the 51st minute. Viktor Sabol took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stanislav Vranković. Stanislav Vranković dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Bizovac getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ladislav Lobrović hit a great ball. Držimir Šijanski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanislav Vranković took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Držimir Šijanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, Bizovac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borislav Škorić to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Korčula booed when Bizovac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Bogdanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Držimir Šijanski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
