Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leopold Čobanov made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Slatina OŠK getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Svebor Ćesić hit a great ball. Božidar Šegovac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Željko Makar in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Slatina OŠK's Adolf Sanader got a free kick in the 9th minute. Leopold Čobanov struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Vinko Varenina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balube. In the 12th minute, Boris Bježančević left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Željko Makar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Željko Makar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Božidar Šegovac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Slatina OŠK's goal looked a bit too open when Leopold Čobanov came free, but Vinko Varenina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolf Sanader hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Slatina OŠK's Željko Makar in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balube's goalie prevented a goal. Dubravko Aljinović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Božidar Šegovac having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Vinko Varenina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopold Čobanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54thth minute of the game Leopold Čobanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slatina OŠK's Vinko Varenina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Božidar Šegovac came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Slatina OŠK's Željko Makar. But to his dismay, Željko Makar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Boris Bježančević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Slatina OŠK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rade Đerek hit a great ball. 71 minutes in the game Vlatko Diaz after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Vinko Varenina. A very good opportunity. After having played for 75 minutes, Dubravko Aljinović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slatina OŠK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dubravko Aljinović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Željko Makar in the 77th minute of play forced Balube's goalkeeper Božidar Šegovac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Božidar Šegovac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dubravko Aljinović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Leopold Čobanov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vinko Varenina, 2-2. In the 88th minute, Leopold Čobanov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vinko Varenina. The goal made the score 2-3. Adolf Sanader kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. If Leopold Čobanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Balube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
