The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Tarkir Khans booed when Sukošan Ribar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franko Plavec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miha Zekić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikola Junaković having to interfere. Višeslav Rogić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Nikola Junaković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopold Protrka struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Nikola Junaković didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarkir Khans. Marcel Vuica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Nikola Junaković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcel Vuica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Vuica got free with Nikola Junaković in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miha Zekić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikola Junaković having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miha Zekić to make the kick off. Franko Plavec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 played minutes Emilijan Medić rounded Tarkir Khans's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. 61 minutes into the match, Sukošan Ribar's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Vuica came free, but Nikola Junaković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes, Borna Nalis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sukošan Ribar and the Tarkir Khans players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Sukošan Ribar's zone, Miha Zekić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikola Junaković came out of the goal and Miha Zekić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sukošan Ribar getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Stanimir Ristov hit a great ball. Nikola Junaković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miha Zekić in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sukošan Ribar's Franko Plavec got a free kick in the 67th minute. Miha Zekić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nikola Junaković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikola Junaković showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miha Zekić, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to Tarkir Khans getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Miha Zekić hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Tarkir Khans's Marcel Vuica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikola Junaković narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tarkir Khans's Miha Zekić got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikola Junaković came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Tarkir Khans's Marcel Vuica. But to his dismay, Marcel Vuica quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 91 minutes into the match, Miha Zekić notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Sukošan Ribar's Nikola Junaković. Nikola Junaković was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
