Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Imotski FC's Vjekoslav Aljinović started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Dado Alić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Žarko Rubić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Držimir Džamarija in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Žarko Rubić, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vjekoslav Aljinović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dobriša Varga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Bribir Kupa's Dado Alić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Žarko Rubić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Dado Alić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Vjekoslav Aljinović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imotski FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vjekoslav Aljinović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dobriša Varga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Žarko Rubić acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 37th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Antonio Silić. With a little luck, Imotski FC's Žarko Rubić got control of the ball when Dado Alić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bribir Kupa's Dobriša Varga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihael Markulj in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dado Alić was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vjekoslav Aljinović in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dobriša Varga saved Bribir Kupa from getting behind. Dado Alić took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Žarko Rubić. Žarko Rubić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Mihael Markulj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Dobriša Varga made a huge save. Žarko Rubić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dado Alić's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Držimir Džamarija received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Žarko Rubić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dobriša Varga came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Imotski FC's Mihael Markulj. But to his dismay, Mihael Markulj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 70 played minutes Bribir Kupa got a freekick which was hit by Zoran Šuvar. Vjekoslav Aljinović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vjekoslav Aljinović in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dobriša Varga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bribir Kupa's Dobriša Varga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Bribir Kupa from getting a goal against them. Vjekoslav Aljinović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Dobriša Varga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bribir Kupa booed when Imotski FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mate Periša didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Dado Alić sped through Imotski FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Žarko Rubić. After 93 minutes of play, Imotski FC's Mihael Markulj made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dobriša Varga was left in no man's land by his defense there!
