Božidar Foretić's late challenge caught a Gradići's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Božidar Foretić helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Imotski FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Božidar Foretić hit a great ball. The supporters of Gradići booed when Imotski FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nediljko Španjol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Žarko Rubić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marinko Sedmak, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Imotski FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marinko Praljak came free, but Žarko Rubić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihael Markulj in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teodor Vujasinović, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Imotski FC booed when Gradići was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Relja Jelovica didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th match minute, Imotski FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihael Markulj to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vjekoslav Aljinović in the 32nd minute of play forced Gradići's goalkeeper Teodor Vujasinović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marinko Praljak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marinko Praljak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Imotski FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marinko Praljak came free, but Žarko Rubić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Imotski FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gradići were winning 0-1.

If Marinko Sedmak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Žarko Rubić was a little too slow when Marinko Praljak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-3. Božidar Foretić kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Marinko Praljak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Žarko Rubić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marinko Sedmak in the 91st minute.
