Despot Maroević made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Nikola Kovačev sent off a good shot on target. Despot Maroević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislav Jusić in the 19th minute of play. Nikola Kovačev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ladislav Jusić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mitar Kukić fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ugljan's protests and gave Mitar Kukić a yellow card for diving instead. During the 65th minute of the match Ladislav Jusić completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Ugljan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikola Kovačev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nikša Baričević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Hegel in the 86th minute of the match. With his leg Nikša Baričević managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Dvor's Višeslav Azinović fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Dvor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dvor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
