They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The audience was convinced that Bruno Mangafić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nenad Široka was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. A collision led to Marinci getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Tomislav Diaz hit a great ball. If Vjeran Cazin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Mislav Brdar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Jeras having to interfere.
