Zlatan Pintar took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vlatko Šišić. Mislav Brdar took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vlatko Šišić. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Zlatan Pintar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marinci's supporters rose to their feet, but Zlatan Pintar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vlatko Šišić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 minutes, Mile Laušić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marinci and the Vrbanja Olimpija players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Marinci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mile Laušić to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Ilko Danon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nenad Široka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zlatan Pintar to make the kick off. Dario Bubnjar charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Bubnjar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilko Danon in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nenad Široka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mile Laušić hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Frane Biškup fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vrbanja Olimpija's protests and gave Frane Biškup a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Vrbanja Olimpija got a freekick which was hit by Frane Biškup. In the 65th minute, Dražen Milanković sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vrbanja Olimpija's Vlatko Šišić didn't even have to move. After 71 played minutes Dražen Milanković scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Vlatko Šišić who was too lazy, 0-4.
