Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kaniža's Miha Bićanić started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Miha Bićanić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kaniža's Perica Huljev got a free kick in the 7th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Kaniža's goal looked a bit too open when Kruno Vardić came free, but Stanimir Dominkuš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominik Zidić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miha Bićanić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Miha Bićanić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Zidić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Branislav Tišma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Stanimir Dominkuš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kruno Vardić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanimir Dominkuš was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. If Kruno Vardić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Kruno Vardić recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stanimir Dominkuš. Dominik Zidić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kruno Vardić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanimir Dominkuš having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kruno Vardić made a kick off. Stanimir Dominkuš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kruno Vardić in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miha Bićanić in the 57th minute of play forced Ozalj's goalkeeper Dominik Zidić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Igor Kučan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Karelović's late challenge caught a Kaniža's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Karelović helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Benjamin Karelović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Miha Bićanić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Kruno Vardić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanimir Dominkuš came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Ozalj's Branislav Tišma. But to his dismay, Branislav Tišma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ozalj's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
