Ozalj's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mile Ninić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Dominik Zidić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mile Ninić in the 9th minute of the match. Krešimir Rekić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kruno Vardić in the 11th minute of the match. Dominik Zidić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kruno Pavlović in the 13th minute. When Želimir Stilinović fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ozalj's protests and gave Želimir Stilinović a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ozalj's Želimir Stilinović got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lila Vatrogasac's goalkeeper Krešimir Rekić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Lila Vatrogasac defense, Kruno Vardić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Krešimir Rekić. The Lila Vatrogasac fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Krešimir Rekić should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute Kruno Vardić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krešimir Rekić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lila Vatrogasac getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Trpimir Magdalenić hit a great ball. Krešimir Rekić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kruno Vardić in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Ozalj's goalkeeper Dominik Zidić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natko Komina. Ozalj's Dominik Zidić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trpimir Šeler in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ozalj's Želimir Stilinović got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 36th minute, Trpimir Magdalenić sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ozalj's Dominik Zidić didn't even have to move. Kruno Vardić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mile Ninić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Zidić having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kruno Vardić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Krešimir Rekić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Karelović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominik Zidić came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Lila Vatrogasac's Trpimir Šeler. But to his dismay, Trpimir Šeler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trpimir Šeler in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominik Zidić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mile Ninić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ozalj getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Želimir Stilinović hit a great ball. Trpimir Šeler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Zidić having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Nikola Dražić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominik Zidić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Branislav Tišma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Krešimir Rekić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Branislav Tišma got free with Krešimir Rekić in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trpimir Šeler got in the 83rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Dominik Zidić handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Natko Komina fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lila Vatrogasac's protests and gave Natko Komina a yellow card for diving instead. Natko Komina hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lila Vatrogasac's goalkeeper Krešimir Rekić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Kruno Vardić kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Krešimir Rekić. That made the score 2-2 in the 91 minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Trpimir Šeler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Dominik Zidić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Lila Vatrogasac were the better team. Lila Vatrogasac's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
