Sanjin Martinović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliks Čuljat having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krsto Šušak during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 10 minutes into the game, one of Vinogradci OSK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Feliks Čuljat had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomislav Gortan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jure Delić kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Tomislav Gortan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vinogradci OSK's Feliks Čuljat didn't even have to move. Tonči Kalaba had great luck who in the 20thth minute grab hold of the ball when Zdeslav Ćalaga from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Stanko Smoljo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Firule's Tomislav Gortan tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sanjin Martinović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliks Čuljat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Dragan Turković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Roko Šagarjelo fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Firule's protests and gave Roko Šagarjelo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Firule getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Roko Šagarjelo hit a great ball. Tonči Kalaba made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Dragan Turković sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th match minute, Firule was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borna Ljumezi to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zdeslav Ćalaga made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Tvrtko Baković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Firule's goal looked a bit too open when Dragan Turković came free, but Tonči Kalaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliks Čuljat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanjin Martinović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Krsto Šušak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vinogradci OSK's zone, Sanjin Martinović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliks Čuljat came out of the goal and Sanjin Martinović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th match minute, Vinogradci OSK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pero Đolonga to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Vinogradci OSK defense, Zvonko Kuzman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliks Čuljat. The Vinogradci OSK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliks Čuljat should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Firule's goal looked a bit too open when Dragan Turković came free, but Tonči Kalaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Vinogradci OSK's Feliks Čuljat got control of the ball when Zvonko Kuzman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Firule's Maksim Košuta got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdeslav Ćalaga in the 81st minute of play forced Firule's goalkeeper Tonči Kalaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Sanjin Martinović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Čuljat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Sanjin Martinović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinogradci OSK's Feliks Čuljat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomislav Gortan shot from long distance in the 88th minute, but Feliks Čuljat was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Feliks Čuljat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sanjin Martinović, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Firule eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
