In the 6th minute Berislav Violić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Predrag Pešić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Đurković got free with Predrag Pešić in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 10 minutes, Kristijan Ninić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buševec Sloboda and the Vrlika players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Buševec Sloboda's Kristijan Ninić got a free kick in the 10th minute. Buševec Sloboda's Mladen Valentić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domagoj Sokač in the 11th minute of play. Hrvoje Dulić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Predrag Pešić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Vrlika's goal looked a bit too open when Izidor Kalaba came free, but Predrag Pešić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Đurković's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Predrag Pešić firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aljoša Oluić hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Vrlika's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Izidor Kalaba 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Predrag Pešić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izidor Kalaba in the 45th minute of play. If Romeo Đurković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aljoša Oluić kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gojko Nakić made a kick off. Tomica Grgić kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Mladen Valentić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gojko Nakić, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Buševec Sloboda's Mladen Valentić got control of the ball when Domagoj Sokač tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gojko Nakić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mladen Valentić having to interfere. Predrag Pešić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Đurković, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Aljoša Oluić kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Izidor Kalaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Predrag Pešić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Đurković's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Romeo Đurković struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Predrag Pešić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buševec Sloboda. In the 82nd minute, Izidor Kalaba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Đurković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Predrag Pešić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izidor Kalaba in the 89th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Aljoša Oluić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vrlika and the Buševec Sloboda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Aljoša Oluić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Izidor Kalaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buševec Sloboda's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
