Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Perica Smalcelj got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Lug Budućnost booed when Slobodnica Cetina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zvonimir Tudor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Lug Budućnost's Teo Muhar tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bernard Mesarić who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Despot Đurićić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th match minute, Slobodnica Cetina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zvonimir Tudor to maneuver through the defense. Despot Đurićić made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Bernard Mesarić sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot by Teo Muhar from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Despot Đurićić's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Lug Budućnost's Stanimir Ljubičić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoran Kladarić in the 25th minute of play. Zoran Kladarić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Lug Budućnost's Jakov Muždalo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Zoran Kladarić struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Stanimir Ljubičić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slobodnica Cetina. A collision led to Lug Budućnost getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jakov Muždalo hit a great ball. Ištvan Jerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanimir Ljubičić having to interfere. After 43rd play minutes Zoran Kladarić shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Stanimir Ljubičić and just under the crossbar into goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Zoran Kladarić made the kick off in the second half. Stanimir Ljubičić made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ištvan Jerman sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Lug Budućnost getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kruno Šutej hit a great ball. The supporters of Lug Budućnost booed when Slobodnica Cetina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimir Radičević didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perica Smalcelj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zoran Kladarić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanimir Ljubičić having to interfere. With a little luck, Lug Budućnost's Stanimir Ljubičić got control of the ball when Ištvan Jerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Bernard Mesarić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lug Budućnost fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Lug Budućnost's Perica Smalcelj looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Mesarić in the 85th minute of play forced Slobodnica Cetina's goalkeeper Despot Đurićić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zoran Kladarić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Stanimir Ljubičić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ištvan Jerman got free with Stanimir Ljubičić in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanimir Ljubičić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoran Kladarić in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Slobodnica Cetina eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
