The audience was convinced that Miha Čuljat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilija Krivačić was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Dražen Potnar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Blaškić, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Mateo Matačić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Žnjan Mosor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Matačić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Žnjan Mosor booed when Vukovina Jedinstvo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Basioli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Matačić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miha Čuljat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilija Krivačić having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Denis Udovičić got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Žnjan Mosor's Romeo Blaškić got a free kick in the 31st minute. Denis Udovičić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th match minute, Vukovina Jedinstvo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Vidović to maneuver through the defense. Dražen Potnar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miha Palić in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Miha Čuljat made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateo Matačić in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dražen Potnar saved Vukovina Jedinstvo from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Mateo Matačić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateo Matačić in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dražen Potnar saved Vukovina Jedinstvo from getting behind. Miha Palić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dražen Potnar having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Mateo Matačić fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dražen Potnar, passed just outside the right post. In the 70th minute, Miha Palić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vukovina Jedinstvo's Dražen Potnar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Matačić in the 71st minute of play. Mateo Matačić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dražen Potnar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Udovičić in the 78th minute of play forced Žnjan Mosor's goalkeeper Ilija Krivačić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Blaškić's late challenge caught a Vukovina Jedinstvo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Blaškić helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Žnjan Mosor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Blaškić to maneuver through the defense. Denis Udovičić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Žnjan Mosor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Relja Pigac to maneuver through the defense. Veljko Ćorluka hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Romeo Blaškić struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Dražen Potnar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Žnjan Mosor. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miha Palić got free with Dražen Potnar in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Žnjan Mosor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Žnjan Mosor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
