Gornji Bogićevci's Belimir Vranković proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Gornji Bogićevci from getting a goal against them. With his leg Belimir Vranković managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Brač's Vladislav Tumir fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 17 minutes, Rade Lucić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gornji Bogićevci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rade Lucić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dalibor Kramar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gojko Štibrić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gojko Štibrić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aljoša Jukić in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Ferdinand Težak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belimir Vranković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gornji Bogićevci's Mijo Banić got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinand Težak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Brač players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gornji Bogićevci were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalibor Kramar was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Brač's zone, Dalibor Kramar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gojko Štibrić came out of the goal and Dalibor Kramar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gojko Štibrić was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Dalibor Kramar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dalibor Kramar really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Rafael Gracin hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Brač's Veljko Štefanek got a free kick in the 71st minute. Vladislav Tumir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belimir Vranković took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladislav Tumir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mijo Banić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, Brač was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veljko Štefanek to maneuver through the defense. The Gornji Bogićevci players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
