Stojko Markov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stojko Markov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niko Zekić having to interfere. When Šarengrad Ribar's Mirko Franjković, in the 8th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Šarengrad Ribar. Stanko Anđelić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Sven Matejaš made a huge save. Mario Benković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanko Anđelić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Matejaš having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Tomo Patrun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Šarengrad Ribar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kaštel Gomilica the free kick. Sven Matejaš was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Petrica Lavčević. Niko Zekić came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Šarengrad Ribar's Stojko Markov. But to his dismay, Stojko Markov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Kaštel Gomilica's Kristijan Roso got a free kick in the 29th minute. Stanko Anđelić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Šarengrad Ribar's Mirko Franjković in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kaštel Gomilica's goalie prevented a goal. Stanko Anđelić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven Matejaš read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stojko Markov in the 42nd minute of play forced Kaštel Gomilica's goalkeeper Niko Zekić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danko Jovanovski hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Stojko Markov hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Mario Benković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Benković to strike the kick off in the second half. Predrag Glibo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Kaštel Gomilica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristijan Roso to maneuver through the defense. In the 60thth minute of the game Stanko Anđelić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Šarengrad Ribar's Sven Matejaš was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Kaštel Gomilica booed when Šarengrad Ribar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalibor Weitner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stojko Markov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Niko Zekić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanko Anđelić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mirko Franjković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalibor Weitner kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Mario Benković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kaštel Gomilica booed when Šarengrad Ribar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dražen Krešić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanko Anđelić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sven Matejaš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danko Jovanovski's late challenge caught a Šarengrad Ribar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danko Jovanovski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Kaštel Gomilica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danko Jovanovski to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Šarengrad Ribar's goal looked a bit too open when Stanko Anđelić came free, but Sven Matejaš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
