Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Gornje Bazje Psunj's supporters rose to their feet, but Alen Kostanjevečki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stipe Dulčić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Luks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Stipe Dulčić made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Gornje Bazje Psunj's zone, Mile Kifer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Veselin Huljev came out of the goal and Mile Kifer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gornje Bazje Psunj's Alen Kostanjevečki got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gornje Bazje Psunj booed when Gradište Mosor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mile Kifer didn't get a good kick on the ball.
