When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lucijan Kvaternik sped through Borovo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Željko Andlar. In the 31st match minute, Aenona ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanko Robinić to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucijan Kvaternik in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Željko Andlar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aleksandar Subotić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrija Travar having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksandar Subotić got free with Andrija Travar in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

After some careless play in the Borovo defense, Lucijan Kvaternik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Željko Andlar. The Borovo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Željko Andlar should have stopped the shot. Lucijan Kvaternik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Željko Andlar was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Tomica Mikičić capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
