Tordinci Zrinski's Jasenko Sabol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatan Ciolfi in the 3rd minute of play. Jasenko Sabol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Rudqvist in the 5th minute of play. When HNK Segesta's Boris Rudqvist in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of HNK Segesta booed when Tordinci Zrinski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Žarko Ivanjko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 minutes of play, HNK Segesta's Boris Rudqvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jasenko Sabol was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 15 played minutes Tordinci Zrinski got a freekick which was hit by Većeslav Mahalec. In the 20th minute of the match Tordinci Zrinski got a corner. HNK Segesta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Većeslav Mahalec ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Većeslav Mahalec got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mate Erdelez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Grgur Vida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tordinci Zrinski booed when HNK Segesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Ingvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Većeslav Mahalec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Grgur Vida came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the HNK Segesta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grgur Vida couldn't finish the play. Većeslav Mahalec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mate Erdelez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Tordinci Zrinski got a corner. HNK Segesta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 35thth minute of the game Većeslav Mahalec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HNK Segesta's Mate Erdelez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. HNK Segesta's Mate Erdelez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Većeslav Mahalec in the 37th minute of play. Mate Erdelez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mislav Prata showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. Boris Rudqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jasenko Sabol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jasenko Sabol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boris Rudqvist went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Većeslav Mahalec to make the kick off. HNK Segesta's Mate Erdelez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Feldman in the 52nd minute of play. Angelo Feldman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mate Erdelez having to interfere. Mate Erdelez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Većeslav Mahalec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mate Erdelez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Većeslav Mahalec in the 66th minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Boris Rudqvist made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Tordinci Zrinski's Jasenko Sabol tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When HNK Segesta's Boris Rudqvist in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match was over HNK Segesta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tordinci Zrinski throughout the match.
