After having played for 21 minutes, Sidney Bertout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cergy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidney Bertout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Alexis Chatellier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rochère's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cergy the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Rochère was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Chatellier to maneuver through the defense. Remi Phelippeau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theophile Rougerie in the 29th minute of the match. Florent Lamalle's late challenge caught a Rochère's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florent Lamalle helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cergy booed when Rochère was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Lardiere didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sidney Bertout could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Nelson Mignard made a huge save. The supporters of Rochère booed when Cergy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corentin Moutama didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sidney Bertout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Calvin Vandenbussche came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Cergy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calvin Vandenbussche couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Rochère's goal looked a bit too open when Calvin Vandenbussche came free, but Nelson Mignard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Calvin Vandenbussche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronald Wartel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cergy! When the match had been going on for 76 minutes, Rochère's Marius Roudaut got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Remi Phelippeau. Theophile Rougerie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Rochère getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eric Lardiere hit a great ball. Cergy's Remi Phelippeau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Cergy from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Cergy's Remi Phelippeau got control of the ball when Valerien Fix tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Cergy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rochère's performance. The match ended with a win for Rochère.
