Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simon Perry started the match with the kick off. Tanguy Pujos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salim Vignaux in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Caen's goalkeeper Tanguy Pujos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marvin Baudon. Michael Teston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Perry, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute Sofiane Lepere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Teston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Perry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Teston having to interfere. After 27 minutes of play, Caen's Simon Perry made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Teston was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caen's Tanguy Pujos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Caen from getting a goal against them. If Simon Perry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 37 minutes into the match, Sofiane Lepere notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Bionne's Michael Teston. Michael Teston was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salim Vignaux made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salim Vignaux in the 53rd minute of play forced Caen's goalkeeper Tanguy Pujos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Teston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Perry, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Tanguy Pujos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marvin Baudon in the 66th minute of play. If Salim Vignaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Sofiane Lepere got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Simon Perry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Michael Teston made a huge save. Michael Teston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Perry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
