If Sacha Delaveau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philippe Sautier kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Jeremy Etcheverry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Houppeville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garlop the free kick. The supporters of Garlop booed when Houppeville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremy Etcheverry didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Laurent Daguet came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Garlop fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurent Daguet couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Pierre-Antoine Brachet made a precise shot to the right of Maxence Saget. Houppeville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jeremy Etcheverry got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Maxence Saget stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierre-Antoine Brachet's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The wind increased when Pierre-Antoine Brachet made the kick off in the second half. Sacha Delaveau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Noel Paysant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Pierre-Antoine Brachet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Houppeville's Maxence Saget was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, one of Houppeville:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Houppeville. Maxence Saget took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre-Antoine Brachet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Houppeville's Maxence Saget proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Houppeville from getting a goal against them. Laurent Daguet took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxence Saget. Maxence Saget dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 78th minute, Michel Joron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes of play, Garlop's Laurent Daguet made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxence Saget was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute Pierre-Antoine Brachet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxence Saget saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxence Saget made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Laurent Daguet sent off a good shot on target. The Garlop players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
