Dimitri Delpy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Sylvain Klein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Christophe Jeanroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lèque's zone, Christophe Jeanroy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylvain Klein came out of the goal and Christophe Jeanroy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sylvain Klein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitri Delpy in the 43rd minute of the match. Lèque's Sylvain Klein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri Delpy in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carl Demagny made a kick off. Eric Bouygues was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carl Demagny showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 52 minute of play. A collision led to Lèque getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Erwin Ramirez hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Lèque defense, Dimitri Delpy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sylvain Klein. The Lèque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sylvain Klein should have stopped the shot. In the 59th match minute, Lèque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donatien Loret to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes, Lèque's Ahmed Michalak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eric Bouygues came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lèque reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Demagny in the 78th minute of play forced Chaparon's goalkeeper Eric Bouygues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brandon Siri's late challenge caught a Lèque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brandon Siri helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lèque booed when Chaparon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. There was no doubt that Chaparon were the better team. Chaparon's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
