Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sacha Dugue took the kick off in the first half of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Alexandre Sire successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gaspard Guillaumin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yvan Bernabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspard Guillaumin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Porcheron in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Houplin's Stanislas Maquin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stanislas Maquin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Houplin protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stanislas Maquin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Gageron's Antoine Casteran got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alexandre Sire. 19 minutes into the match, Damien Audureau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandre Sire. Houplin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damien Audureau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 21 played minutes Houplin got a freekick which was hit by Laurent Batisse. Damien Audureau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Sire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sacha Dugue in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Damien Audureau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Sire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damien Audureau went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 35 minutes of play, Gageron's Damien Audureau made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Sire was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damien Audureau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Alexandre Sire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bob Porcheron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspard Guillaumin having to interfere. Houplin's Bob Porcheron got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Bob Porcheron made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Houplin booed when Gageron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Martineau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Houplin were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Gageron's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Didier Mellet took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Didier Mellet got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gaspard Guillaumin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 59 minutes into the match, Houplin's goal looked a bit too open when Damien Audureau came free, but Alexandre Sire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damien Audureau in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Sire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61stth minute of the game Damien Audureau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Houplin's Alexandre Sire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laurent Batisse hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sacha Dugue in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Sire saved Houplin from getting behind. If Bob Porcheron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damien Audureau scored 5-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandre Sire, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, Sacha Dugue ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandre Sire was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Freddy Martineau charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Martineau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexandre Sire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sacha Dugue in the 84th minute of the match. Romaric Rolin's late challenge caught a Gageron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romaric Rolin helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes Houplin got a freekick which was hit by Romaric Rolin. For all the effort they put into the match, the Houplin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gageron.
