Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Constantin Pepin started the match with the kick off. Jean Têtu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris Peyrou in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Quetigny's Yves Danton got a free kick in the 10th minute. Joseph Bekaert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean Têtu came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Saliers's Constantin Pepin. But to his dismay, Constantin Pepin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jean Têtu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris Peyrou in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Quetigny booed when Saliers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Cocheteux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eymeric Herrou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julien Dupuy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Théophile Espagnet, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Franklin Cloix kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 26 minutes, Darren Sissoko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saliers and the Quetigny players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Saliers's Darren Sissoko got a free kick in the 26th minute. The audience cheered loudly when Yves Danton's long shot in the 27th minute became 1-1 when the ball went to the left of and passed Julien Dupuy. Jean Têtu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Pepin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantin Pepin struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Jean Têtu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saliers. After 36 played minutes Saliers got a freekick which was hit by Harry Wauquier. Ahmid Baudel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julien Dupuy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Théophile Espagnet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Quetigny were awarded a corner. Yves Danton went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Romain Bourin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, Saliers's Harry Wauquier got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Théophile Espagnet made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Joris Peyrou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saliers's supporters rose to their feet, but Joris Peyrou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Têtu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Constantin Pepin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anatole Séjourné hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joris Peyrou got free with Jean Têtu in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Quetigny's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Pepin came free, but Jean Têtu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th play minute Joris Peyrou came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jean Têtu. 1-2. In the 73rd match minute, Quetigny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Côme Magnard to maneuver through the defense. If Constantin Pepin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Quetigny defense, Joris Peyrou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean Têtu. The Quetigny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean Têtu should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joris Peyrou got free with Jean Têtu in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Théophile Espagnet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julien Dupuy having to interfere.
