In the 5th minute Sylvain Pech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julien Dupuy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joris Peyrou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Arthur Burlet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joris Peyrou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Burlet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Pepin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julien Dupuy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylvain Pech in the 14th minute of the match. Paulo Chagnon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julien Dupuy having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Saliers got a freekick which was hit by Harry Wauquier. After a rather tough play, Clouange's Boris Richez got a free kick in the 27th minute. Arthur Burlet was a little too slow when Constantin Pepin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. If Sylvain Pech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulo Chagnon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sylvain Pech was the one to do the kick off. When Sylvain Pech came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Clouange fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sylvain Pech couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Sylvain Pech got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Saliers's goalkeeper Julien Dupuy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Chagnon. In the 66th minute, Leon Herard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Sylvain Pech got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joris Peyrou in the 75th minute of play forced Clouange's goalkeeper Arthur Burlet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saliers's supporters rose to their feet, but Joris Peyrou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Burlet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Paulo Chagnon came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Clouange fans jumped to their feet.
