Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Charles-Henri Malherbe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Plascassier's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Favrot came free, but Oscar Godeau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Charles-Henri Malherbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Godeau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Favrot in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Bruce Rech managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruce Rech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Plascassier's Oscar Godeau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Favrot in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Forbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Baumann to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Litzler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles-Henri Malherbe in the 36th minute of the match. Camille Favrot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Godeau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Charles-Henri Malherbe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Litzler having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camille Favrot in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Godeau saved Plascassier from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Camille Favrot to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Antony Briand shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinand Litzler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ferdinand Litzler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Leost, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ferdinand Litzler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles-Henri Malherbe in the 55th minute of play. Charles-Henri Malherbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ferdinand Litzler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Alexandre Genet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forbach and the Plascassier players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Forbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Genet to maneuver through the defense. Charles-Henri Malherbe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Litzler having to interfere. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Plascassier's goalkeeper Oscar Godeau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, André Palumbo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plascassier's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forbach the free kick. André Palumbo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Favrot in the 68th minute of play forced Plascassier's goalkeeper Oscar Godeau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles-Henri Malherbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benjamin Leost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Litzler having to interfere. If Benjamin Leost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 81 minutes, Benjamin Leost managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plascassier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Leost was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Godeau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camille Favrot's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After 87 played minutes Plascassier got a freekick which was hit by André Palumbo. After 88 played minutes, Forbach's Desire Schlosser shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oscar Godeau came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Forbach reached it. After some careless play in the Forbach defense, Charles-Henri Malherbe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinand Litzler. The Forbach fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinand Litzler should have stopped the shot.
