The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noé Marchal made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Portes's Joaquim Debonne threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jean-Pierre Malle, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Montesson's Joaquim Debonne got control of the ball when Prosper Liberge tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teddy Lachaise made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
