Hugo Witz started the match with the kick off. Pierre-Emmanuel Gallego's late challenge caught a Labbeville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre-Emmanuel Gallego helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maraval fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Labbeville a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Morgan Demailly, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Maraval's Christian Loret. 0-1. Lorenzo Duvernois hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Francois Menard in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Loret saved Maraval from getting behind. After 10 minutes, Jean-Francois Menard made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Maraval's Christian Loret tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Witz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Mangot having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Labbeville's zone, Herbert Panchout stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Mangot came out of the goal and Herbert Panchout tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maraval's Christian Loret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaetan Leblanc in the 23rd minute of play. If Herbert Panchout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Loret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Francois Menard in the 27th minute of the match. Maraval's Christian Loret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Francois Menard in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, Labbeville's Victor Mangot got control of the ball when Herbert Panchout tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean-Francois Menard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Labbeville booed when Maraval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Petillon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Panchout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Mangot having to interfere. Jean-Francois Menard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Loret having to make a save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaetan Leblanc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Loret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaetan Leblanc in the 56th minute of play. When Lorenzo Duvernois fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maraval's protests and gave Lorenzo Duvernois a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Maraval got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Duvernois. If Herbert Panchout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Jean-Francois Menard got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Gaetan Leblanc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaetan Leblanc in the 68th minute of play forced Maraval's goalkeeper Christian Loret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Panchout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Victor Mangot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Labbeville's zone, Hugo Witz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Mangot came out of the goal and Hugo Witz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Mangot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Witz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Witz in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Mangot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Labbeville had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
