Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Deulemont's Francis Pennec started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Francis Pennec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neuhof's Germain Gavoille was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noe Finck got free with Germain Gavoille in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Florentin Guion notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Deulemont's Francois Bargain. Francois Bargain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute Francis Pennec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germain Gavoille saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Florentin Guion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Neuhof booed when Deulemont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neuhof's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentin Peyraud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
