Noe Beaufils showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastien Roullier, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Royat's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Droin came free, but Noe Beaufils reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henri Rouiller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Theo Mainguet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Brian Bougault in the 8th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Brian Bougault struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Theo Mainguet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royat. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Brian Bougault managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royat's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Bougault was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Mainguet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Henri Rouiller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theo Mainguet. Mundolsheim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henri Rouiller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Philibert Isidore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Royat's goalkeeper Noe Beaufils had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernard Defay. Noe Beaufils was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Dimitri Droin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dimitri Droin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Bernard Defay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noe Beaufils having to make a save. If Henri Rouiller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Mundolsheim's Dimitri Droin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noe Beaufils narrowly saved just below the crossbar. One of Mundolsheim:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Royat:s goal. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Theo Mainguet. Dimitri Droin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noe Beaufils read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Royat's Noe Beaufils played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri Droin in the 83rd minute of play. If Dimitri Droin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
