Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Louison Baumont started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Barel in the 4th minute of play forced Attignat's goalkeeper Hubert Thimonier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Don's Denis Laurain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louison Baumont in the 9th minute of play. If Felix Minatchy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Cyril Pitois was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Don's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Attignat the free kick. In the 30th minute, Louison Baumont got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Louison Baumont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steven Marguier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Denis Laurain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 minutes, Steven Marguier made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Don's Denis Laurain tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steven Marguier got free with Denis Laurain in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesar Barel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hubert Thimonier having to make a save. After having played for 48 minutes, Steven Marguier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Attignat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Marguier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Barel to make the kick off. Louison Baumont fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Laurain having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Cesar Barel took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Hubert Thimonier to make any attempt to save it. When Steven Marguier came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Attignat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Marguier couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Cesar Barel made a precise shot to the right of Hubert Thimonier. Attignat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Gaetan Le Bastard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Hubert Thimonier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Attignat got a freekick which was hit by Paul Fouilloux. Gaetan Le Bastard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Thimonier having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
