Diego Avisse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Hubert Thimonier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joe Barde in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hubert Thimonier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joe Barde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Thimonier having to interfere. Sofiane Vaury kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Chantenay booed when Attignat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Manet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Avisse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hubert Thimonier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Avisse in the 12th minute of play. Chantenay were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Attignat's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rémy Geny took the corner. The corner ended in Rémy Geny almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Attignat's Hubert Thimonier did a great save. When Steven Marguier fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Attignat's protests and gave Steven Marguier a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chantenay booed when Attignat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Marguier didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Attignat's Stanislas Passot threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Louison Baumont, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 31st minute, Louison Baumont got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Louison Baumont stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
