In the 3rd minute, Alfred Mielle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Estevelles's Felix Baguet, in the 6th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Estevelles. After a defensive mix-up in Lesigny's zone, Felix Baguet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Cario came out of the goal and Felix Baguet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Lesigny's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Baguet came free, but Kevin Cario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lesigny's Kevin Cario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Baguet in the 14th minute of play. Christopher Billet kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Fabien Long was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thibaut Douce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ghislain Girardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilles Pouchain kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ghislain Girardi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lesigny's supporters rose to their feet, but Ghislain Girardi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thibaut Douce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blaise Loubere hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Benoit Chassin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Lesigny's goalkeeper Kevin Cario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Baguet. After a rather tough play, Lesigny's Jean-Marc Rambaud got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Pierre-Henri Jobin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estevelles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre-Henri Jobin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benoit Chassin to make the kick off. Reda Tricoire kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Pierre-Henri Jobin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Cario having to interfere. The Estevelles fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Estevelles's Felix Baguet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thibaut Douce made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ghislain Girardi sent off a good shot on target. Pierre-Henri Jobin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Cario having to interfere. Felix Baguet struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Kevin Cario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estevelles. Lesigny's Kevin Cario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Henri Jobin in the 82nd minute of play. Alfred Mielle charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfred Mielle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felix Baguet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kevin Cario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benoit Chassin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibaut Douce having to interfere. Thibaut Douce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benoit Chassin in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lesigny players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Estevelles.
