Felix Baguet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steven Vuillaume read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Thibaut Douce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulysse Yver, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Steven Vuillaume stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierre-Henri Jobin's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. A collision led to Estevelles getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gilles Pouchain hit a great ball. Steven Vuillaume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Baguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thibaut Douce made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Christopher Duru sent off a good shot on target. Pierre-Henri Jobin might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Steven Vuillaume. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pierre-Henri Jobin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Tristan Coutant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Sofiane Descroix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steven Vuillaume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Henri Jobin in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Estevelles's Gilles Pouchain got a free kick in the 34th minute. Paul-Henri Pernin, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jordy Salabert kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Jordy Salabert tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Thibaut Douce. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 40th minute. Christopher Duru struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Thibaut Douce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buchêne. After 47 minutes, Tristan Coutant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buchêne and the Estevelles players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Buchêne's Tristan Coutant got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Baguet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thibaut Douce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulysse Yver's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Thibaut Douce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Duru in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Buchêne getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Geoffrey Mouillet hit a great ball. Djibril Mottier was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Estevelles's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysse Yver came free, but Thibaut Douce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Duru in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thibaut Douce saved Estevelles from getting behind. Gilles Pouchain got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 70th match minute, Estevelles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilles Pouchain to maneuver through the defense. Christopher Duru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steven Vuillaume was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Pierre-Henri Jobin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pierre-Henri Jobin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Pierre-Henri Jobin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Felix Baguet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estevelles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Baguet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christopher Duru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thibaut Douce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Duru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ulysse Yver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Ulysse Yver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Douce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 minutes, Jules Humbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estevelles and the Buchêne players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Estevelles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jules Humbert to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Estevelles eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
