Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Camille Legoupil made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th match minute, Castagniers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolphe Bourez to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Maximilien Fontana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Sollier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Delacour hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Thomas Sollier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilien Fontana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lionel Hochard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castagniers's supporters rose to their feet, but Lionel Hochard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierrick Brunner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matheo Cassan charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matheo Cassan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Gorceix got a freekick which was hit by Matheo Cassan. Pierre-Henri Leprince, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 19th minute Rodolphe Bourez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierrick Brunner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lionel Hochard struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Pierrick Brunner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castagniers. If Charlie Heron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Camille Legoupil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Sollier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Delacour's late challenge caught a Gorceix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Delacour helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gorceix booed when Castagniers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Delacour didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrien Bremont was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Castagniers's zone, Maximilien Fontana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Sollier came out of the goal and Maximilien Fontana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Maximilien Fontana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Camille Legoupil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Sollier was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Thomas Sollier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Legoupil in the 38th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Castagniers got a freekick which was hit by Michel Delacour. In the 46th match minute, Gorceix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Dureau to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolphe Bourez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolphe Bourez in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierrick Brunner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 54 minutes, Camille Legoupil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorceix and the Castagniers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gorceix's Camille Legoupil got a free kick in the 55th minute. Yann Jolly took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pierrick Brunner. Gorceix's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gorceix's Charlie Heron got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Castagniers's Lionel Hochard in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gorceix's goalie prevented a goal. Lionel Hochard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Castagniers's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Legoupil came free, but Thomas Sollier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Delacour was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 73rd match minute, Castagniers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Delacour to maneuver through the defense. Camille Legoupil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Thomas Sollier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Wilfried Le Gallic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Castagniers had won after a very even match.
