Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gael Michel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Limoges's Jean Pointeau got control of the ball when Redouane Kervella tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean Pointeau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batiste Desgranges in the 8th minute of the match. Jean Pointeau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batiste Desgranges in the 20th minute of play. Redouane Kervella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Pointeau having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Michael Pagano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Hulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Pacome Guimard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pacome Guimard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Hulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 35 played minutes Limoges got a freekick which was hit by Mario Guion. Gael Michel might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pacome Guimard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gael Michel ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Lossy getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Victorien Thirion hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Hulin during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 47 minutes into the game, Benjamin Hulin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Pacome Guimard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Batiste Desgranges was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Lossy's zone, Gael Michel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pacome Guimard came out of the goal and Gael Michel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pacome Guimard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gael Michel in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Lossy's goal looked a bit too open when Gael Michel came free, but Pacome Guimard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Gael Michel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gael Michel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pacome Guimard having to make a save. With his leg Pacome Guimard managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Limoges's Benjamin Hulin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Lossy's Pacome Guimard got control of the ball when Benjamin Hulin tried to sneak it across the goal line. With splendid footwork Gael Michel arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-2 by the left pole in the game's 82nd minute. Benjamin Hulin came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pacome Guimard could save by the left post. If Benjamin Hulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Gael Michel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limoges's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gael Michel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Limoges supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Limoges would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
