Jarod Gabin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Eric Serra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wettolsheim's Jarod Gabin got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Wettolsheim's goalkeeper Denis Moinard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eric Serra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jarod Gabin went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Samuel Fauchon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Moinard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Julien Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julien Nunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Wettolsheim's Julien Nunes in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Denis Moinard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentin Metayer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Wettolsheim's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Fauchon came free, but Denis Moinard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Moinard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentin Metayer in the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Wettolsheim got a freekick which was hit by Antony Daguet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francis Bas in the 66th minute of play forced Illhaeusern's goalkeeper Eric Serra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarod Gabin struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Eric Serra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wettolsheim. Denis Moinard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Fauchon, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Luc Royant kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Jarod Gabin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Eric Serra made a huge save. If Julien Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Illhaeusern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joffrey Betremieux to maneuver through the defense. Wettolsheim played a much better game than Illhaeusern and deserved their victory. The Illhaeusern players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
