The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octave Laffargue during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bastien Legentil in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chris Estival prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, Touche's goal looked a bit too open when Bastien Legentil came free, but Chris Estival reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
