Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anthony Clin started the match with the kick off. Alexandre Louche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Minguet having to interfere. Danny Minguet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jolan Gally, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13th match minute, Fréjus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Verrecchia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Jolan Gally managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calmette's supporters rose to their feet, but Jolan Gally was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danny Minguet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Louche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Minguet having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Clin in the 22nd minute of play forced Calmette's goalkeeper Salomon Romieu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salomon Romieu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Clin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jolan Gally in the 33rd minute of play forced Fréjus's goalkeeper Danny Minguet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Calmette's zone, Anthony Clin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salomon Romieu came out of the goal and Anthony Clin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Calmette booed when Fréjus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Bourget didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calmette's Salomon Romieu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Calmette from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
After a defensive mix-up in Fréjus's zone, Alexandre Louche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Minguet came out of the goal and Alexandre Louche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillaume Normand kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Alix Souche was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Guillaume Normand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franck Lecoeuvre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Salomon Romieu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ghislain Tuaillon kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Fréjus's Anthony Clin got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Alexandre Louche could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Danny Minguet however easily saved by the left post. Alexandre Louche in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Danny Minguet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anthony Clin struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Salomon Romieu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fréjus. 85 minutes in the game, Jolan Gally fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Danny Minguet having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jolan Gally in the 92nd minute of play forced Fréjus's goalkeeper Danny Minguet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franck Lecoeuvre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fréjus were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Calmette for a fine match.
